This is my story of losing myself and finding Jesus again.
P.S. you can watch this podcast episode of YouTube below.
I grew up in a Protestant, deep-south community, and was taught faith looked a certain way within structures built by the same men. I left seminary and the American Church system in 2019 and as life took me beyond those walls, I started asking deeper questions and wrestling with what it meant to live the way of Jesus in our world as a young woman.
I decided to let go of dogma and shame and certainty. I decided to deconstruct and re-learn to align my life with Jesus’s heart through my own encounters, research and relationships.
Join me as we rethink faith, look beyond tradition, and explore a new way of seeing God.

have you ever read the book The Dance of the Dissident Daughter by sue monk kidd? its so good 🥹 it helped me put words to what i had felt when i left the church. She asks the hard hitting questions about a womans "place" through time & the history of Christianity & pulls from ancient texts to show how it was not always so MALE-centric. It’s stunning work.
