The answer became loud and clear as I began writing this. There’s no insomnia like unmet potential. I have been aching to find and be compensated for meaningful work. To cultivate and water meaningful friendships. To feel and be a part of an intentional and deep relationship. With myself. With my creativity. But what was I doing about it? Internalizing it. Not sleeping. And turning blue.

Internalizing. I am so guilty of that toxic behavior.
This was a very therapeutic read for me. Thank you.
This was such a wonderful way to look at societal beauty standards. Remembering we’re human and NOT perfect is what makes us all beautiful in our own way instead of all looking like the same person. If we all were poreless and perfect, then the world would be pretty lame to look at.
RIGHT! I listened to Selena Gomez's "Who Says" a few days ago at the gym and thought the lyrics were still pretty relevant to girl's daily lives... even 13 years later ! 🤣
Thanks mat! I really appreciate your eyes and ears!
This is so true:

Gloria, I’m so glad you resonated. If we all just could admit our insides to the outside world, I think we’d all feel less alone 💕
We would not be alone. That is the beauty of it.
Love this. So beautiful. So human. Thank you.
So human is the kindest compliment you could give me 🥹 thank you ❤️
Isn’t that so beautiful? To be called human 🫣 I wonder why it touches us so deeply. I imagine it’s not too far off from your topic for this essay.

This article nailed what I have been feeling for quite some time and unable to articulate. Thank you❤️
